Patch to Plate Concept Design
This is another school assignment where we were givene a brief, and the requirements was a logo, the concept and the design. Read the brief.
This is my direction, collecting cards for the children, which is to be given as a reward after looking after their keyhole gardens.
I have illustrated the characters, designed the cards and created the logo. All done in Illustrator.

said on July 19th, 2010:Cecile, as you know, an effective logo is one that immediately conveys its meaning and its organisations purpose. This logo does this. Its elements epxlain its purpose. The plant leaf works well, try to get the plate element to look more like China. The colors are perfect for the young target market.. Resist the temptation for more more elements… Remember good logo design has a mimimum of elements Good use of youth oriented bright colors. The red provides good color contrast relatable to the target market. Well Done
